SEARCH FOR PROPERTIES!

I have lived in downtown Fort Lauderdale for five years now. Although there are thousands of prewar homes in Miami-Dade County, the choices in Broward are not as ample.

Further, my proprietary research has shown that the three neighborhoods that tend to come to mind when thinking of older homes in Fort Lauderdale — Victoria Park, Colee Hammock, and Rio Vista — really don’t represent very good value for the money.

When my buyer clients express interest in these neighborhoods, I explore further with them what they are really looking for. Of course if they want to look in those areas, I can find them a great opportunity.

However, I strongly suggest — if they need to be in Fort Lauderdale — that they consider the neighborhoods of Tarpon River, Sailboat Bend, and the east side of Riverside Park.

Here are a few photos of those neighborhoods. Below are links to some financial data.
